Q.  What's the Best Solvent for Cleaning "No Clean" Solders and Pastes?

A.

Most users report eitherChloride residues such as these can be the result of incomplete soldering with no-clean fluxes. Flux Remover C (#MCC-FRC) or VeriClean™ (#MCC-DC1)work great on "no clean" materials.

Flux Remover C is an excellent choice. Flux Remover C is based on HFC solvents, it cleans great, is generally plastic safe, has a modest aroma, fast drying, and a very competitive price.

VeriClean™ is another quick-drying cleaner with almost no aroma; it's widely used in areas where VOCs are a concern.

If you are cleaning stencils or misprinted boards, the best choice is either the water-based BGA Stencil Cleaner (#MCC-BGA) or the solvent-based Economy Stencil Wipes (#MCC-MLCW).
