The Fiber Optic Cleaning Kit from MicroCare is a sturdy tool bag that contains virtually everything a technician needs for either (a) cleaning bare fiber before fusion splicing or field termination, or (b) for cleaning connector end-faces. The kit and its contents have been selected specifically to quickly and cost-effectively solve field installation and maintenance problems of cleaning fiber optic networks.
The kit includes cans of solvent, cleaning sticks and several packages of lint-free wipes. In addition, the dual-zipper bag speedily opens and closes, making it easy to handle even with just one hand. The bag is sized properly to hold enough supplies without being heavy, cumbersome or bulky. Two generous side-pockets allow additional wipes, cleaning sticks, or other tools (like strippers and test gear) to be stored with the kit. The side-mounted handles make it easy to carry.
