Bioact® EC7M is a powerful cleaner based upon natural and biodegradable terpene solvents produced from citrus fruit. As a room-temperature defluxer, this is a highly cost-effective and environmentally safe cleaning choice.
EC7M is an excellent electronic cleaner for all types of fluxes, conformal coatings, dirt, moisture, dust and light oxides. It's a good degreaser, but a remarkable cleaner for anything made from rubber or silicone, like most adhesives and glues. The cleaner has been widely used on PC boards, components, connectors and mechanical parts. EC7M dries relatively slowly, minimizing solvent waste. It requires good ventilation. Test on soft plastics.
