IsoClean™ is 100% pure isopropyl alcohol, also called IPA. It is a mild alcohol cleaner for circuit boards, fiber optics, cables, stencils, misprinted boards, and other surface cleaning. On electronics, it removes most types of low-temperature fluxes, dirt, grime, moisture and light oxides. In telecommunications, in the bulk (non-aerosol package) it often is used to clean fiber optic connectors as well as fiber optic cables before splicing, Non-corrosive IsoClean also is an excellent head cleaner for video and audio-recording systems. IsoClean is safe on components, including chips, connectors, cables and elastomers. It is an excellent choice for repair depots, where materials the materials of construction vary widely and sometimes are unknown.
IsoClean is made from only the cleanest “anhydrous” grade of IPA. Whereas many IPA-based cleaners contain up to 30% water, which is cheaper, IsoClean is virtually water-free so it’s surprisingly strong. In addition, in the sealed aerosol container, the cleaner is undiluted by airborne humidity. This makes IsoClean an excellent cleaning choice. MicroCare recommends using IsoClean with the Trigger Grip dispenser for maximum safety and effectiveness.
