Genesolv® 2004

Genesolv® 2004 was a great circuit cleaner, widely used around the world. But it was a Class II ozone-depleting solvent and has been phased-out in most parts of the world. In addition to the brand name "Genesolv" you might also see the chemical name dichlorofluoroethane, "HCFC-141b", "CAS #1717-00-6"  or other brand names such as "Forane."  If you're still using Genesolv, it's time to switch.

MicroCare would recommend PowerClean™ as the best replacement for Genesolv. Other options include Flux Remver C and VeriClean™.
