A Valuable Resource
By handling some of the more routine sales tasks, it frees up time for the rest of the sales team to do what they do best – provide the training and technical expertise our customers need to get perfectly clean parts every time. “It’s my goal to be a valuable resource that the entire team can rely on,” Stephanie said.
Stephanie handles a variety of assignments to help keep orders flowing smoothly through the system including fielding phone calls and responding to customers’ inquiry emails.
Customer Service Expertise
Stephanie worked in the hospitality industry for eight years before joining the MicroCare team in 2018 so she knows how to treat customers right. She was named “Associate of the Year” by the Waterford Hotel Group for her outstanding performance.
“That work was perfect preparation for my current role,” Stephanie reflected. “Always focus on the person at hand, listen carefully and find a fast and efficient solution for what they need.”
Learning the Ropes
Since Stephanie’s background is in hospitability management, the technical aspect of our products and how they are used was a little intimidating to her at first. “We help clean things that I didn’t even know needed cleaning,” she said.
However, Stephanie went through MicroCare “immersion training” to help her learn. The training helps new employees get the big picture of the industry and the role MicroCare plays in it. New employees spend time with each department including the critical cleaning lab, manufacturing and distribution. They learn how each department functions and how they interact and support one another, ultimately resulting in a good customer experience. “It was a huge help to see how every department works together to provide quality products and service for our customers in a timely fashion,” Stephanie said.
On a Personal Note
Stephanie earned an Associate’s degree from Baystate College in Boston and her Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management at Central Connecticut State University in New Britain, CT.
She lives in central Connecticut with her cat, Marcy.
When not working Stephanie spends time with her family, walks the Farmington Canal Heritage Trail, listens to comedy podcasts and has recently ventured into practicing yoga. She also spends time catching up on her favorite shows on Netflix. Look out though. Lurking beneath her sweet demeanor is a wicked sense of humor. For instance, one of Stephanie’s favorite shows to watch is It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia which was described by one reviewer as “It’s like Seinfeld on crack.”
