Cleaning Demonstrations & Discussions are Focus of IPC APEX 2019

As the IPC APEX Expo 2019 in San Diego wound to a close, the consensus from the MicroCare team was that it was a hit.  The MicroCare booth was large and bright, and by far the most completely equipped venue at the show. The team looked sharp in their red MicroCare neckties. Customers could find cleaning answers that ranged from flux cleaning pens to aerosol sprays to a vapor degreaser, all at one booth. The MicroCare team of critical cleaning experts were exited to be at the show and to highlight the various ways to solve our customers’ critical cleaning dilemmas.

The team met with hundreds of customers and prospects in the USA and around the world. We noticed a surge of attendees that came to San Diego from Mexico and it was great to have our newest Mexico Regional Sales Manager, Ernesto Pollano, at the booth to collaborate with them.

While meeting with many of our distributor partners, the MicroCare team took the opportunity to review the full electronics cleaning product line and to demonstrate the features, benefits and operation of the TriggerGrip™ cleaning system.

One of the big attractions to the booth was the vapor degreaser from Branson Ultrasonics. Mark Wedman, Regional Sales Manager for Branson, was on-hand to demonstrate how vapor degreasing can be used to quickly batch clean large numbers of printed circuit boards using safe and compliant cleaning fluids.

In addition, MicroCare introduced its solder paste and flux test result reports. The MicroCare Critical Cleaning Lab conducted extensive cleaning trials on various brands of solder pastes and fluxes and documented the performance results for each brand including Indium, Loctite, Alpha, AIM and Kester.

In a week filled with notable events, one truly stands out. Erik Stromberg of E-tronix of Minnesota was honored as the MicroCare Sales Representative of the Year for 2018. Stromberg was recognized for his enthusiasm for the MicroCare line and his responsiveness and customer support. Erik Stromberg and Ryan Sullivan from E-tronix were on-hand to accept the award from Dan Sinclair, MicroCare National Sales Manager.

IPC APEX 2019 was a big success for MicroCare. Now, we’re looking forward to a big year working closely with our customers, both exisitng and new.
