Position Overview:

Production helps ensure that manufactured items are ready for shipment by placing them into containers, sealing and labeling product and preparing for transport.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and package all materials according to MicroCare standards and cGMP’s.
  • Confirm lot numbers and labels to batch tickets.
  • Maintain accurate weights for documentation on work orders and batch records.
  • Keep accurate production, inventory, and quality control records.
  • Monitor production schedule and associated work orders. 
  • Operate all forklifts. 
  • Collaborate and communicate with all other departmental personnel.
  • Ensure safe, efficient, and effective operation of production equipment.
  • Clean and monitor work areas for safety and compliance. 
  • Perform other duties as directed by the supervisor.
  • Alert supervisor to any safety concern or activity.

Minimum Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The job requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.   • 1+ year of production or warehouse experience and knowledge of production processes.
  • Must have basic math skills.
  • Knowledge of basic computer skills Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Forklift experience required.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English.
  • Possess excellent organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in chemical manufacturing.

Physical Requirements:

  • Lifting required of up to 70lbs unassisted and over 70lbs with lifting aides.
  • Continuous reaching/working overhead.
  • Frequently stands, walks, sits, climbs, pushes, pulls, and carries items.
  • Work environment subject to seasonal temperature variations.
