Regional Sales Manager - Asia 92921

MicroCare, LLC is looking for a Regional Sales Manager in Asia.  You will work collaboratively with the APAC regional team based in Singapore and as well as the parent company or subsidiaries in the USA and Europe. You are required to implement territory-based sales and marketing strategies and sales initiatives to meet the company’s growth objectives in a team-based setting. This role is key in managing different brands, channels, and industry sectors. This is a solid challenge for the right candidate and an opportunity to take up higher-level responsibilities. This role requires between 30-50% international travel.

  • Hold business development responsibility for primary regions in Southeast Asia, and secondary regions in the rest of Asia and ANZ.  
  • Drive sales and demand across multiple brands (2-3) and industry segments, aligning with company’s objectives and revenue budget.

  • Develop and continue growing channel or/and distribution partner network as force multipliers.

  • Be a technical resource and first point of contact to end-customers or partners. 

  • Establish and lead direct sales calls with end customers or joint sales calls with partners, and conduct product demonstrations, when and where required.

  • Engage customers or partners on usage forecasts and subsequently update/coordinate with internal team members.

  • Execute training programs for partner’s sales force or any end-users.

  • Assist General Manager in planning sales forecasts, pipelines, and marketing events.

  • Generate weekly sales reports to General Manager.

  • Maintain constant networking with key industry players and regularly contributes business or competitors’ intel to the team members.

  • Provide constructive product or customer feedback to internal co-workers.

  • Work closely with General Manager and USA Product Managers to develop & execute strategic plans with relation to global-accounts, channel-growth, product, pricing, quality, or marketing etc.

  • Be a Brand Ambassador for the company.

  • Assist marketing team and designers with both print and online or digital marketing materials/content for Asia Pacific territories.

  • Support all marketing events or activities, trade -shows and conferences.

  • Hold direct responsibility in coordinating regulatory requests and replies, between customers and Global regulatory colleagues.

  • Contribute and input data into company’s ERP/CRM system.

  • Participate and contribute during online calls and meetings. 

  • Additional duties or responsibilities may be assigned from time to time.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5-10 years of sales and marketing experience

  • In-depth knowledge in consumable products selling

  • Proven knowledge in business-to-business distribution-based sales, and seeking sales opportunities with end-users when required

  • Degree or equivalent experience in telecommunication, engineering, chemical engineering, or business related

  • Preferred experience or some experience in handling customers from manufacturing, electronics, telecommunication, and/or fiber-optics related field(s)

  • Possess both "hunter" and "farmer" skill sets (50-50)

  • Strategic thinking and able to influence mid-to-top-level decision making

  • Good presentation skills, with the ability to articulate value proposition to customers

  • Effective, proactive communication skills and strong interpersonal skills

  • Highly approachable and able to work with people from all walks of life

  • Team player, able to work cross functionally between business units, functional departments, or different time zones

  • Independent, a self-starter, good listener, and a problem solver

  • Able to converse and read/write in English and Mandarin

  • Ability and willing to travel internationally ~ 30-50%.
