Position Overview

  • The hours for this position flex and are Monday through Friday in the range of 7am-4:30pm.
  • Responsible for tracking inventory levels and handling all aspects of shipping and receiving of raw materials and finished goods. 
  • Meet established requirements for best in class, on time delivery.
  • Ensure that proper classifications are assigned based on shipping method. 
  • Create and maintain accurate related records/documentation.



  • Perform daily shipping, receiving, transportation and warehouse duties as directed.
  • Review work orders submitted for shipment to ensure accurate carrier, address, shipping payment method and advise if any discrepancies.
  • Control and maintain all inventory levels in warehouse and pick locations. 
  • Prepare products for either a small package carrier or on a skid for an LTL carrier based on specification from customer.
  • Ensure shipping compliance according to HAZMAT training and standards.
  • Provide shipping quotations as needed to customer service department.
  • Monitor processes and correct inadequacies. 
  • Provide a means for safe, efficient, and effective operation of trucks and warehouse equipment. 
  • Ensure compliance with all SOPs and GMPs. 
  • Maintain accurate records for all forklifts, trucks, and warehouse equipment.
  • Ensure that work areas are neat and safe for operations personnel.
  • Load and unload trucks as needed with forklift.
  • Promote an incident free workplace by complying with safety policies and procedures and participate in company safety trainings. 
  • Perform other duties and special projects, as requested.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Previous shipping and receiving experience and knowledge of production processes.
  • Must have basic math skills.
  • Knowledge of basic computer skills Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Forklift experience required.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English.
  • Possess excellent organizational skills.

Physical Requirements

  • Lifting required of up to 70lbs unassisted and over 70lbs with lifting aides.
  • Continuous reaching/working overhead.
  • Frequently stands, walks, sits, climbs, pushes, pulls, and carries items. 
  • Work environment subject to seasonal temperature variations.
