Currently we are searching for a Technical Service Senior Chemist to hold a dual role as a Senior Chemist and our onsite Technical Sales Support Expert.

Position Overview:

This position is a dual role of 85% Chemist responsibilities and 15% onsite Sales support, solving issues regarding customer trouble shooting, analyzing competitive products, documenting test report generation, and developing test protocol for products. The Sales support is for specific domestic and global key accounts.

Responsibilities:

  • Primary responsibility is to manage, prioritize and deliver all technical service requests from sales and customers.
  • Provide onsite sales support as needed. 
  • Act as technical lead on vapor degreasing lab evaluations and equipment.
  • Provide new employee training on vapor degreasing equipment, practices, product selection and trouble shooting.
  • Establish and maintain operational protocol for vapor degreasing.
  • Interact directly with MicroCare salespeople, representatives, distributors, and customers in a technical support capacity.
  • Use chemical analysis tools and research literature to investigate customer and field issues with MicroCare products as well as competitive products.
  • Support developing new products for MicroCare as directed by the Technical Director.
  • Apply knowledge of GC and other chromatographic methods, IR, SEM, mass spectroscopy and interpret the experimental data. 
  • Serve as resource for environmental regulations for new product development.
  • Participate in appropriate quality procedures for ISO 9001-2015.
  • Promote an incident free workplace by complying with safety policies and procedures and participate in company safety trainings.
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • B.S. in Chemistry, with five years’ experience 
  • Three to five years of hands-on work experience with lab procedures, equipment and various chemical compounds, report writing and presentations of work.
  • Strong technical abilities: Excel, ERP
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Understanding of general laboratory etiquette, excellent trouble shooting, and communication skills.
  • Customer Service experience

  • Solvent based chemistry
