Mike Jones is Featured Speaker at 'Reliability Roadshow'

At MicroCare, we are often asked about the best critical cleaning methods and fluids to use to ensure PCB performance and longevity. The Carolinas SMTA 2019 Expo and Tech Forum this week in North Carolina provided the perfect forum to share our solutions and expertise on the subject.

The theme of the forum was Building Reliability into Your Electronics; How to Measure it and Ways to Improve It. Forum attendees learned how to choose solders and fluxes, manage stencil and reflow profiles, select components including BGAs CSPs, MLFs and QFNs and how to protect PCB function and lifespan.

There were 5 presentations throughout the day from companies within the electronics industry including Indium, Weller Corporation, MicroCare Corporation, Datest and Creative Electron.

Mike Jones, MicroCare Vice President of International Sales, delivered his presentation “Reliability of Critical Cleaning and Best Practices in Electronics”. Many filled the room to get Mike’s guidance on the four types of cleanliness measurement and the eight characteristics of a great cleaning fluid.

Mike’s talk was well-received and there were many follow-up questions.

The “Reliability Roadshow”, as it is now referred to, is planning to travel to more cities throughout the US in the upcoming months. Keep an eye out for invitations from your local SMTA chapter for the latest dates and locations.
