Collaboration is Hot Topic at Career Fair

MicroCare exhibited at the annual New Britain High School Academics Career Fair this week. The high school is just a couple of miles from MicroCare headquarters, but many of the attendees were surprised to learn that a leading global critical cleaning company is among their neighbors. Maryblaise Larson, MicroCare HR Generalist/Talent Acquisition Lead, was on-hand to showcase MicroCare and its mission to local students.

The fair gave 10th, 11th and 12th grade students the opportunity to discuss, inquire and learn about possible career choices in the finance, health, manufacturing/engineering/IT and public service sectors of our local economy.

The fair was busy and the students were engaged. “The students, some dressed for success in business attire, came prepared with questions about our company culture as well as the education and skill levels required to work at MicroCare,” said Larson.

“They were particularly interested to hear about the collaborative work environment at MicroCare. How all employees from finance to laboratory research to manufacturing and quality control  work together to deliver the best critical cleaning products for our customers.”

This was a wonderful opportunity to partner with New Britain High School which has very good educational programs, counselors, teachers and other staff members dedicated to helping their students succeed.
