ISO, ROHS and REACH Certificates
ISO 9001:2015 Registered
MicroCare is ISO 9001:2015 registered. This indicates MicroCare is in compliance with the internationally-accepted standards for quality. It assures customers that MicroCare products and services are developed, engineered, manufactured and delivered using the latest in quality management processes.
“Our early registration to the ISO standard proves that MicroCare embraces the ISO concept of continuous improvement to our products, our processes and our service,” said Jay Tourigny, MicroCare Vice President. “Our customers consider ISO certification vital because their products are used in unforgiving, mission-critical applications. MicroCare’s early certification reinforces the undisputed fact that MicroCare maintains a state-of-the-art quality system.”
The new ISO quality standard, ISO 9001:2015, was published in 2015. The goal of the new standard was to clarify inconsistencies in the old standard, respond to feedback from users, and improve compatibility with ISO 19011 and the environmental standard ISO 14001. Among the hundreds of improvements, the new standard clarifies company responsibilities among top management, includes guidance on the manner in which ISO processes apply to out-sourced work, and confirms that “conformity to requirements” is the joint responsibility of the technician who directly builds the product and management.
MicroCare cleaning products are certified as lead-free and meet RoHS and WEEE standards.
In addition, MicroCare is in full compliance with the European Union’s REACH Regulation (EC No 1907/2006) and has pre-registered (or suppliers have pre-registered) over 100 ingredients used in MicroCare products. MicroCare also certifies that products offered for sale in Europe (and the rest of the world, for that matter) do not contain more than 0.1% by weight per article of any substance on the Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) list.
