The hours for this position are Monday - Thursday 6am to 4:30, giving you a three-day weekend! OVERVIEW
Accountable for the setup, and ongoing operation of the MicroCare Aerosol and Bulk Blending lines, ensuring efficient production processes, adherence to safety and quality standards, troubleshooting equipment issues, and optimizing workflow to maximize productivity.
RESPONSIBILITES
- Perform set-up, inspection and machine operation, including filling stations, labelers, printers, and other production line equipment.
- Train and direct Technicians/temporary staff, delegating tasks relevant to work schedule, documenting progress and participating in the interviewing process with Warehouse Operations Supervisor.
- Disassemble equipment, inspect and repair components for defects and consult Maintenance if required.
- Document and communicate problems, progress reports and improvement ideas, alerting Maintenance on equipment needs.
- Review Batch tickets and communicate necessary set-up procedures, material calculations and material gathering for each run.
- Update, document, complete manufacturing batch tickets, and log into Chempax.
- Utilize Chempax to qualify proper raw material inventory and location for upcoming product runs.
- Verify line clearance has been performed prior to starting the next order and general line cleanliness.
- Promote and participate in good housekeeping habits to ensure line appearance exceeds management and customer expectations.
- Promote an incident free workplace by complying with safety policies and procedures and participating in company safety trainings.
- Other related duties as assigned.

- Ability to read, confirm batch ticket calculations and instructions
- Trainer to new technicians
- Apply safety knowledge and procedures to daily production
- Act as first line of assessment for mechanical failures
- Utilize analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong mechanical knowledge
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Five of years manufacturing experience
- One to three years of mentoring, guiding or training staff
- Computer proficiency with MS Office Suite
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- Must have superior mathematical abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Forklift certification
- Complete facility specific Area Lead Position training per the MicroCare Training and Development Matrix and perform any additional responsibilities per the Matrix.

- Chemical manufacturing background
- Chempax or other ERP system knowledge
- Bilingual Spanish
- Form of secondary education in Chemistry
PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Lifting required of up to 60lbs unassisted and over 60lbs with lifting aides
- Frequently stands, walks, stoops, crouches, climbs, pushes, and pulls
