Come join us and be a part of our team in an engaging environment that offers work -life balance and an opportunity to grow and be involved with all aspects of production.  You will work with our warehouse and production teams in Commerce City, Colorado on a Monday through Thursday 6am – 4:30 work schedule.  That gives you a three-day weekend!

Position Overview:

As a Production Packer you ensure that manufactured items are ready for shipment by placing them into containers, sealing and labeling products and preparing for transport.

Responsibilities:

  • Package, label, lot and stack all products.
  • Make boxes in preparation for packing.
  • Visually inspect products for defects.
  • Move boxes from the line to skids for wrapping and transport.
  • Assist with the set-up and break-down of the various filling lines to manufacture all the different types of MicroCare Medical products.
  • Operate all forklifts. 
  • Maintain a clean safe workspace through daily trash and cardboard disposal.
  • Provide support in other areas of manufacturing as needed.
  • Ensure safe, efficient, and effective operation of production equipment.
  • General facility and production clean-up as needed. 
  • Train other employees as needed.
  • Perform other duties as directed by the supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Previous production or warehouse experience and knowledge of production processes
  • Ability to work well with others in a teamwork environment
  • Must have basic math skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in chemical manufacturing.
  • Forklift experience.
  • Able to read and write the English language.

Physical/Environmental Qualifications:

  • Lifting required of up to 40 lbs. unassisted and over 40 lbs. with lifting aides.
  • Continuous reaching/working overhead.
  • Frequently stands, walks, sits, climbs, pushes, pulls, and carries items.
  • Work environment subject to seasonal temperature variations.
