You will work with our warehouse and production teams in Commerce City, Colorado on a Monday through Thursday 6am – 4:30pm work schedule. That gives you a three-day weekend!

Position Overview:
As a Production Packer you ensure that manufactured items are ready for shipment by placing them into containers, sealing and labeling products and preparing for transport.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
•    Package, label, lot and stack all products.
•    Make boxes in preparation for packing.
•    Visually inspect products for defects.
•    Move boxes from the line to skids for wrapping and transport.
•    Assist with the set-up and break-down of the various filling lines to manufacture all the different types of MicroCare Medical products.
•    Operate all forklifts.
•    Maintain a clean safe workspace through daily trash and cardboard disposal.
•    Provide support in other areas of manufacturing as needed.
•    Ensure safe, efficient, and effective operation of production equipment.
•    General facility and production clean-up as needed.
•    Train other employees as needed.
•    Perform other duties as directed by the supervisor.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The job requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

•    High School diploma or equivalent
•    Punctuality and willingness to work
•    Previous production or warehouse experience and knowledge of production processes
•    Ability to work well with others in a teamwork environment
•    Must have basic math skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
•    Previous experience in chemical manufacturing
•    Forklift experience
•    Ability to read and write the English language

PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL QUALIFICATIONS:
•    Lifting required of up to 40 lbs unassisted and over 40 lbs with lifting aides
•    Continuous reaching/working overhead
•    Frequently stands, walks, sits, climbs, pushes, pulls, and carries items
•    Work environment subject to seasonal temperature variations
