Currently we are searching for a Manufacturing Technician for our production line in Rocky Hill. The hours for this position are Monday -Thursday 6am to 4:30pm, giving you a three-day weekend! RESPONSIBILITES
- Assist with the set-up and break-down of the various filling lines to manufacture all of the different types of MicroCare products.
- Package, label, lot, and stack all products per instructions on the batch ticket.
- Inspect all finished products for complete accuracy and possible imperfections.
- Maintain clean work environment.
- Responsible for daily trash and cardboard disposal.
- Help in other areas of warehouse as needed.
- If required, move raw materials and finished goods around the warehouse with propane powered forklift.
- Promote an incident free workplace by complying with safety policies and procedures and participating in company safety trainings.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Ability to read and follow detailed batch ticket instructions
- Mathematically competent
- Warehouse, industrial, or manufacturing work experience
- Ability to adhere to deadlines

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One year of warehouse/industrial/manufacturing experience
- Able to read, write and speak English
- Must have basic math skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge
- Ability to follow instruction and work independently
- Good communication skills
- Complete facility specific Operator position training per the MicroCare Training and Development Matrix and perform any additional responsibilities per the Matrix
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Chemical blending experience
- Basic computer skills
- Knowledge of manufacturing conveyor systems
- Mechanical abilities
- Forklift Certification
- Ability to observe and provide process improvement guidance/suggestions
- Lifting required of up to 60lbs unassisted and over 60lbs with lifting aides
- Frequently stands, walks, stoops, crouches, climbs, pushes, and pulls
- Operate a forklift
- Work environment subject to seasonal temperature variation
