Manufacturing Manager's Promotion Speaks Volumes about Developing Employees

Eleven years ago Luis was a “line tech” filling aerosol products. With the right training, motivation and work environment at MicroCare, now he oversees all manufacturing processes, with 2 supervisors and over 30 employees reporting to him.

MicroCare Corp. congratulates Luis Rodriguez on his recent promotion from Production Supervisor to Manufacturing Manager. He now oversees all manufacturing processes at MicroCare, with over 30 employees and two supervisory personnel reporting to him.

Investing in Promising Employees

Luis began his career at MicroCare 11 years ago as a “line tech” filling aerosol products. He has consistently excelled at every opportunity with which he has been challenged. Luis’ career path to date validates the MicroCare model of finding great employees, giving them the motivation and tools to achieve their full potential, and nurturing a trusting work environment.

Brian King, MicroCare Vice President of Operations, says the company is incredibly proud of Luis as an employee, but also as a person. “Our goal is to help each employee realize his or her full potential through training, setting high expectations and even higher standards,” he explains.

Providing a Winning Work Environment

“The environment here is a great atmosphere, almost like a family,” Luis says about working at MicroCare. “We’re growing so fast, and the company trusts us with such big responsibilities. We work together and we work hard, and when we complete something it’s a proud accomplishment for all of us.”

Helping Employees Develop their Full Potential

The investment MicroCare has made in the company employees has made a big impact on Luis, and his goals for his own future. “MicroCare has allowed me to grow, to learn new skills and advance my career,” he says. “Now I understand that reinvesting in your employees is huge! Hopefully in the future I can provide that opportunity to the guys I supervise.”

Rodriguez grew up in New Britain and graduated from the E.C. Goodwin Technical High School in 2004. He wants to further his career through increased managerial responsibilities. MicroCare looks forward to continuing to provide Luis with interesting challenges, and the training and skills to keep developing his career.
