MicroCare Cares About Sending Kids Back to School Supplied for Success

The MicroCare Cares Team in partnership with  Family Promise of Central Connecticut, a nonprofit program that helps homeless families with children remain intact and become self-sufficient, spent the month of August getting ready for school.

The team received donations from friends, family and their fellow MicroCare employees to purchase and outfit backpacks for seven students ranging in age from six to seventeen. They gathered hundreds of items including everything from the standard notebooks and pens to gift cards, socks and chemistry sets.

Not to mention one very fuzzy purple backpack for a first grader. Thanks to everyone for your generous contributions to help fill the backpacks.
