Thomas Tattersall Named Chief Operating Officer at MicroCare Corp.
MicroCare Corporation announced today the appointment of Thomas Tattersall to the newly created position of Chief Operating Officer. The creation of the position speaks to the recent growth of MicroCare and the company’s desire to continue to achieve its strategic goals. A proven leader with more than 30 years of engineering, sales and a marketing background, Mr. Tattersall is a key advisor on the executive committee and continues to provide MicroCare with strategic direction.

Tom graduated from Penn State University in University Park, PA as a Scholar with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering. Upon commencement, he joined the DuPont Company and relocated to Wilmington, Delaware. Throughout his DuPont career, he held various jobs in technical service, manufacturing, international sales and marketing with a remarkable career and transformation with DuPont. His “idea effect” started with Fluoroproducts. He then went on to exchange ideas, discuss the issues that help to sustain our ever-changing industry and get lost in the thought-provoking chemistry and ideas of anticipation.
His recent work has led to him being awarded 3 U.S. Patents regarding novel cleaning formulations. Tom brings over 20+ years of experience in the cleaning market primarily focusing on providing customers with an efficient process utilizing state-of-the-art solvents and equipment.
Micro Care is privately held as part of one of the Jones Companies located in Connecticut. The Jones Companies employs about 100 people and has sales in excess of $65 MM.
Tom currently lives in Hockessin, Delaware with his wife Karen and their four (4) children.
