“Scaling Back": How ACID Magic® Restored Efficiency at a High-Use Denver Pool

To combat severe scale buildup on heat exchanger elements at the Montclair Recreation Center’s high-use leisure pool in Denver, CEM Sales & Service conducted a four-month trial using ACID Magic® Multi-Use Formula. The safer, low-fume acid alternative replaced traditional products without requiring pool shutdown or extra labor. By the end of the trial, visual inspections revealed dramatic scale reduction, improved water flow, and clearer copper tubing. Phosphate levels dropped by at least 1,500 ppb, calcium levels improved, and system performance stabilized. The case study confirmed ACID Magic’s effectiveness and safety for municipal aquatic environments.
