How is MicroCare Responding to the COVID-19 Pandemic?
Dear customers, colleagues and friends,
The MicroCare COVID-19 task force continues to monitor the COVID-19 situation. This is a rapidly changing condition that is impacting countries, states and cities differently. Our team is making decisions based on the most recent information provided by the CDC, WHO, and local public health agencies and government officials, while keeping the health and safety of our employees our top priority.
We are open for business. Our manufacturing, laboratory and distribution personnel across the globe will be working hard throughout the coming weeks and months to keep you supplied with MicroCare and Sticklers products through this period. Indeed, there is going to be an increased need for effective critical cleaning fluids in all the industries we serve.
We understand many of you may be feeling isolated as public health officials encourage us to distance ourselves from others and community events are canceled. We encourage you to continue to find ways to connect with others during this time. Make a phone call or video chat with a friend or colleague. Emotional wellness is just as important as physical well-being.
Also, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us during these stressful times. Please call 800-638-0125 and our team members will assist you with product ordering information to help keep your business running.
Be Safe and Well,
The MicroCare Team
Frequently Asked Questions
How is MicroCare impacted by the COVID-19 Coronavirus outbreak?
MicroCare is monitoring the situation closely and moving quickly to take action to minimize potential risk this may have for MicroCare employees, business and customers.
How is MicroCare protecting its workforce from exposure to COVID-19?
For employees in affected areas, we have enacted targeted travel controls and are following self-quarantine guidelines. We encourage employees to use MicroCare collaboration technology to work remotely as appropriate.
How does the Coronavirus pandemic impact the MicroCare supply chain?
The MicroCare supply chain is in good shape as we generally have multiple sources with the bulk located in North America. MicroCare continually monitors the supply chain for issues that may impact our operations, working closely with our suppliers to assess and minimize any potential effect.
Are there any near-term impacts to MicroCare production and delivery schedules?
The Coronavirus outbreak has had no impact on our ability to manufacture or ship product. We have multiple manufacturing locations that give us flexibility to produce our products and deliver as scheduled.
Has there been any impact to MicroCare product availability?
Due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, our supply of “slam-shut” wipe tubs has been 100% diverted to the needs of the health care industry. Therefore, we are temporarily changing the lid design in our line of presaturated wipes as of April 1, 2020. The temporary lid will feature an open-top dispensing hole rather than the slam-shut lid. The change to the open-top dispenser is only temporary until we can replenish our slam-shut lid inventory. When available, we will resume shipments with the slam-shut lid. The wipes themselves and solvent formulas remain unchanged.
