MicroCare, LLC is looking for a Process Engineer with our Certol division in Commerce City, CO.

This division of MicroCare, LLC has been developing innovative products for the healthcare and industrial markets for more than 40 years. We are one of the earliest pioneers of infection prevention products for the healthcare community as well as cleaners for a variety of industrial markets.

Description:

You will be responsible for improving the overall manufacturing processes at our Commerce City, CO facility by identifying areas for improvement, designing and implementing changes, and tracking and reporting production metrics.

Responsibilities:

  • Optimize productivity by designing, implementing, and testing new procedures.
  • Assemble reports to document process status and changes.
  • Track metrics to discover areas for improvement and monitor upgrades.
  • Provide thorough instructions for successful implementation of process changes.
  • Conduct risk assessments.
  • Assess compliance with applicable safety and quality standards.
  • Manage capital projects from inception to implementation.
  • Enhance equipment performance by installing modifications, fabricating, and modifying new and existing equipment while maintaining the integrity of safety and warranty.
  • Support organization’s compliance with policies and procedures for internal and external regulatory requirements set by EPA and OSHA.
  • Promote an incident-free workplace by complying with safety policies and procedures and participate in company safety trainings.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
  • 3-5 years of experience and solid understanding of machinery operations, PLC electronics, pneumatic tools, wiring and a strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Knowledge of basic computer skills: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgement by identifying complex problems and reviewing related information.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly, improvise and be creative

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. required.
  • Frequently stands, walks, stoops, crouches, climbs, pushes, and pulls.
  • Operate a forklift.
  • Must wear company provided PPE as necessary.
  • Comfortable and confident climbing ladders.
