Ed Trexler joined MicroCare in March 2025 as an Account Manager where he plays a key role in developing new business opportunities, particularly for ACID Magic®, and cultivating relationships with existing customers. With a strong background in sales, Ed brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to his role, helping businesses find safer, more effective solutions for surface preparation, scale removal, and pH adjustment.
Education & Industry Certifications
Ed earned his Associate’s degree from the Community College of Philadelphia and his Bachelor's degree from Temple University’s Fox School of Business. During his college years, he worked full-time, gaining valuable insights into business needs and operations. He also holds a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC), granting him access to secure shipping and receiving ports, and an MSHA Part 48(b) certification from the Mine Safety and Health Administration, showing his training in mine safety regulations. These certifications reflect Ed’s commitment to going above and beyond to support customers in specialized industries while ensuring compliance with safety standards.
A Strong Background in Sales & Business Development
Before joining MicroCare, Ed held significant positions in sales and business development with Continental Tire, where he worked as a Field Sales Representative (FSR) in Colorado and as a Territory Sales Manager (TSM) in the PA/NJ/NY region. He developed a deep understanding of the tire industry, focusing on specialty equipment and digital solutions. One of his proudest achievements was securing a seven-year-long customer deal by helping a distributor win major business with a successful trial of a digital tire pressure monitoring system.

Beyond Work
Outside of work, Ed enjoys outdoor activities, spending time with his fiancée Lavender, and exploring new places and foods. He’s also an avid sports fan, particularly of his hometown Philadelphia Eagles.
