Rebecca has extensive experience in experimental execution, instrumentation operations, stability testing, method validation, data collection, and presentation. Her expertise includes High Performance Liquid Chromatography, Gas Chromatography, Mass Spectroscopy, LIMS, Solid Phase Extraction, Empower, ChemStation, Instrument Maintenance, and Troubleshooting, Capillary Electrophoresis, Differential Scanning Calorimetry, Stability Testing, and Documentation.
Rebecca joined MicroCare in March 2023 as a Senior Quality Control Chemist. In her role, she is responsible for developing, conducting and overseeing the analytical methods we use to test incoming raw materials and outgoing MicroCare products. Under her watchful eye, she ensures that every bottle pail or drum of cleaning fluid we make is properly tested and documented to the most stringent industry quality and safety standards.
Her primary responsibilities include developing and conducting analytical methodologies and molecularly identifying unknown impurities within our finished closed container systems.
She will also use chemical analysis and research to investigate customer and field issues with MicroCare products as well as competitive products.
Rebecca is passionate about her work and approaches it with dedication and focus. She finds the most satisfying part of her employment to be maintaining and utilizing the instrumentation, which allows her to analyze molecular entities and contribute to the development of new technologies.
Rebecca attended Western New England University in Springfield, Massachusetts, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. She then went on to Sacred Heart University, in Fairfield, CT where she received a Master of Science in Chemistry. Currently residing near our Connecticut corporate headquarters with her husband, Rebecca has a three-year-old daughter and a one-year-old son. Her favorite things are spending time with her family and enjoying the great outdoors.
